One of the things I ‘cotton’ to is retro design - fonts, images, logos with a forties, fifties or sixties feel. I love that kind of work, there was some really great design in those days and most of it still holds up pretty well.

My first gig as a graphic artist was at a newspaper doing ads and there was an old royalty free clip art book. At the time (early days of the Mac) there wasn’t an abundance of electronic art and a resource like that really came in handy.
